TOPIC: GOD’S PRESENCE – A COVER AND CLOTHING FOR LIFE
SCRIPTURE: And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: Exodus 13:21-22.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Presence of God is a cover and necessary clothing for life and destiny.
Our anchor Scripture shows us how the Lord went before the children of Israel in a physical Presence as the glory cloud.
The glory cloud is the weight of God’s Presence. The Presence of God is a tangible, feelable, and palpable materiality.
There are people you come close to and you feel God’s Presence around them; there is something around them that reminds you of God. There is something on their countenance or voice that reminds you of God. It is the tangibility of God’s glory. It is the tangibility of God’s Presence that they carry.
On the other hand, there are those you come close to and you feel their flesh.
And it is important to note that lands also carry such glory.
Paul Yonggi Cho once said that in the earlier days of his ministry, when he prayed for about an hour in his country, South Korea, he would experience the Presence and the Anointing of God. But when he travelled to Japan, which at that time was about 99% other religions, he had to pray for nothing less than seven hours before he could feel the Presence of God.
In explanation, he said it was because the principality covering of South Korea, his country had been broken by intercession, so, feeling the Presence of God was easy. But in Japan, it was hard to contact and feel God because of the satanic and occultic climate over the nation at that time.
Beloved, the Presence of God is a necessary covering and clothing for life and destiny. You need the Presence of God to fulfil destiny.
My counsel is, spend time with God so He can cover and clothe you with His Presence.
REMEMBER THIS: The Presence of God is a necessary covering and clothing for life and destiny.
ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Spend time with God so He can stamp your life with His Presence.
2. Refuse to allow the flesh or its manifestations to rule your life.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You cover and clothe me with Your tangible, palpable and feelable Presence. Help me to spend time with You Lord, so I can contact and carry Your evidential Presence, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
