TODAY’S TOPIC: GOD IS ABLE

READ: Matthew 4:23-25
23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

24 And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

25 And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.

Anglican Daily Fountain | 4th January 2023 Devotional STUDY:

Have faith, have hope, and hold on. In our text today, we notice that Jesus went about all Galilee preaching and healing in synagogues. Synagogues were houses of local worship. As Jesus was faithful in carrying out his divine duty, His name went through out all Syria; and people brought the sick people and he healed them (v.24).

Jesus took care of both spiritually and physically needs of the people by teaching them the word of God and healing their physical diseases. Receive word of hope today! Jesus is willing to touch you, heal you, and restore you. 1 Peter 5:7 says “Casting all your cares upon him, for he cares for you.” This is one major secret for a peaceful life. You have Jesus as an advocate and He solves challenging problems, even of ill health, for people. He is able to set you free from all problems you may be facing now.  Trust Him; He will turn things around for your own good.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I commit all my needs to you and ask for your intervention in Jesus’ name. Amen.
