DAILY FOUNTAIN DEVOTIONAL 5 NOVEMBER 2022 STUDY:

When men acknowledge God in any situation, He makes a difference. In the midst of a situation that was to destroy both the ungodly and godly wise men in Babylon, Daniel acknowledged God to be the revealer of secrets and by God’s mercy declared the interpretation of the dream of King Nebuchadnezzar as received from God without perversion (Dan. 2:12, 28).

When Daniel made his presentation without arrogance but humility and honesty, Nebuchadnezzar in turn responded by acknowledging Daniel’s God (Dan. 2:47) and in his capacity as king, promoted Daniel and his Hebrew colleagues (Daniel 2:48-49). When God is acknowledged in a life, family, nation or institution, the difference will always manifest.

When we are arrogant with the manifestation of God’s gifts, blessings and power, it shows that we do not acknowledge God as our source. Daniel acknowledged God in the affairs of a kingdom and God manifested His power. The same is expected of us to acknowledge God in every area of our lives for His might and power to be expressed and for others to acknowledge Him.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, have mercy on me in any way I have not acknowledged you and help me to always acknowledge you in Jesus’ name. Amen.
