TODAY’S TOPIC: DIVISIVENESS
SCRIPTURE: TITUS 3:10-11
10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.
TODAY’S WORD: DAILY WALK WITH CHRIST
The church of God must be maintained and kept in unity. Christians must promote unity rather than division in the church. This text talks about some persons who cause division amongst the flock by erroneous teachings, resulting in factions and sects. Division in the church results in hostility among brethren and the deadening of ministry.
Indeed, when division takes centre stage, the church loses its priority of reaching souls (see Romans 16:17).
Because of the plague of divisiveness, Paul calls on believers to have nothing to do with a divisive person. Therefore, the church should not tolerate a divisive person in their midst. Repent from any divisive tendencies.
