If you’re spending more time talking about your problems than you are the promises, then that’s out of balance. Maybe you’re not seeing things turn around, you’re not seeing increase, promotion, healing, because you’re putting God in remembrance of the wrong things. You’re telling Him what wasn’t fair, who left you, and how bad the medical report is. Try a different approach. Take a break from telling God everything that’s wrong. He already knows your needs. There’s nothing wrong with asking, but at some point, you need to switch over to thanking Him for what He’s promised.
What’s limiting some people is not that they’re not talented, not that they don’t have God’s favor. It’s that they keep sowing to the flesh. Don’t keep giving in to the same things that you know are holding you back. Next time you’re tempted to be jealous, find fault, say something critical, tell your flesh, “No. I’m not going there. I’m going to be happy for them. I’m going to see the best in people.”
When I say God’s going to send an angel, sometimes God will use people as an angel. The Scripture says, “Many have entertained angels unaware.” That friend that encouraged you, that neighbor that said the right thing at the right time, that coworker that showed up right when you needed them, yes, you knew them, but what you didn’t know is they carried out the assignment of an angel. They became a messenger of God.
