SCRIPTURE: Numbers 13:33
There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.

The twelve spies whom Moses sent in to report on the Promised Land saw the same things. Two of them declared in faith, “We are well able to overcome it.” The other ten said, “We are not able” because the people were “of great stature.” Giants were there who made them feel like “grasshoppers.” Now I’m a native-born Texan, and I know Texas tall tales when I hear them. Just do the math. If a grasshopper is an inch tall, and a man is five-feet tall, that man would have to be three hundred feet high by comparison. Those giants may have been big, but they weren’t that big. And while they were bigger than what the men of Israel could handle, they weren’t bigger than what God could handle.

We’ve all let our imaginations take over at times and made our problems too big for even God to solve. But when you keep your imagination submitted to God’s Word, suddenly, there is no problem that’s too big for God to solve. Suddenly, He will make a way where there seems to be no way. You might not know where your answer is coming from, but He’ll show you great and mighty things. Suddenly, you’ll be saying, “We are well able to overcome it.” That’s the God whom we serve!

Today’s Blessing: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and give you His peace. May God take you through the problem to the provision. May you, with bold, relentless faith, go straight through the problem and receive the promise of God. Let this day and the days that follow be days of triumph and victory because God is a faithful God who will never fail you. In Jesus’ name, we receive the answer, Amen.
