Kumkum Bhagya is one of the popular TV shows which runs on Zee TV and the same is produced by none other than Ekta Kapoor under her banner Balaji Telefilms. The show which was started in the year 2014 will soon complete five years. Yes, you read it right. And to mark the occasion, a mahasangam episode has been planned and the same will be high on drama.

As per IWM BUZZ, there will be a new character addition. As per the report, a Chief Minister’s character will be shown and a major attack will be planned on during one of the mega events. Pragya will get to know about this and she will be seen trying her best to save the CM. the role of CM will be played by actress Sonali Joshi who is currently been see in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke. In the YRHPK show, Sonali plays Ved’s mother’s role.
