Receive the grace to spend quality time alone with God daily and get spiritually refreshed, in the name of Jesus.

30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

The desire to get closer to God is achievable for all believers through daily and consistent observance of the Quiet Time. The time spent with God in His word, prayer and worship first thing in the morning has profound and far-reaching spiritually benefits. Those who have made it a lifestyle have wondrous testimonies to share about how God used it to tum their lives around. Let us examine some of these benefits.
First, when you spend quality time in God’s presence everyday, He will heal and restore your soul (Psalm 23:2-3). He will also renew and transform your life (2 Corinthians 4:16).
Second, God will give you joy. The Psalmist affirms that in His presence is the fullness of joy and on His right hand there are pleasures forever (Psalm 16:11). When you make your daily appointment with God sacrosanct. He will make you to rejoice and be glad in Him. God is the Source and Giver of joy. He gives unspeakable joy to those who diligently seek and worship Him.
Third, when you have Quiet Time with God, He will give you spiritual strength. Isaiah 40:29-31 assures, “He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Therefore, by observing your Quiet Time regularly, you will know God more, become strong in Him and in the power of His might, and be strengthened with might in your inner man by His Spirit.
Fourth, observing your Quiet Time daily means taking time to love God and getting to experience His love even more. Psychologists and relationship counselors have confirmed that spending quality time together will increase love and intimacy between a couple or friends.
Beloved, let your Quiet Time be a top priority everyday and all-year round. You will become a mysterious wonder and bigger bundle of testimonies, in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER POINTS FOR THURSDAY 5TH OCTOBER 2023:
MORNING
1. Dear Lord, please visit my life again, in the name of Jesus.
2. Revival fire of God, fall upon my life, in the name of Jesus.
3. My spiritual life, receive freshness and newness, in the name of Jesus
EVENING
4. Every internal arrow waging war against my spiritual growth, be uprooted and die, in the name of Jesus.
5. Territorial evil spirits polluting my prayer altar, scatter by fire, in the name of Jesus.
6. O God, release Your Holy Spirit into my life for effective quiet time, in the name of Jesus.
7. Arrows of sleep and slumber fired against my quiet time, go back to your sender, in the name of Jesus.
