According to today’s memory verse. we leam that prayer is an effective tool in building our faith in God. Prayer draws believers closer to God. Why is prayer so essential to the Christian? It is because your prayer life is your spiritual life. If you do not pray, you do not have a spiritual life and if you do not have a spiritual life, there is no faith.
Also, in building our faith, what we do as Christians is based on what we believe. James 2:20, “But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?” This means that faith is visible; faith is action. Faith is not dormant. You cannot desire to build your faith in God and you are not doing the things that please Him. It is impossible to please God without faith. You must begin to discipline yourself to fit into God’s standard. People like Jeremiah, David, Samuel, Daniel, etc. met God as teenagers and they kept the faith. Learn to take matters to God and believe Him to perform His wonders in your life.
God uses trials to build our faith in Him. Most times, when we tell God to build our faith, He brings us into some trials, thereby building our faith in Him. He puts us in challenges that only faith in Him can solve. The Bible reveals that many people’s faith was strengthened through trials. You may be wondering why things are not going the way you want, even as a born again. Beloved, nothing is working against you.
There is glory at the end of that dark tunnel. Your faith is gathering power and wings to fly to realms that your mates will begin to look up to you. Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.” Listening to holy messages and studying God’s word are vital for building your faith. The word of God is quick and powerful; it has no limitations and cannot be stopped. It must fulfil the purpose for which it has gone forth. When you open your spirit man for free access to God’s word, it will fill you with faith.

1. O Lord, encourage me through my trying times, in the name of Jesus.
2. O Lord, please help my faith, in the name of Jesus.
3. Holy Spirit, repair the altar of my life and rekindle my fire, in the name of Jesus.

4. Let the word of God fill my heart and spirit, in the name of Jesus.
5. O Lord, lead me through in the journey of faith, in the name of Jesus.
6. O Lord, deliver me from the evil load discouraging my faith, in the name of Jesus.
