Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins. Proverbs 10:12

Evening Prayer With Bible Verse
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Morning Inspiration
Where there is hatred and resentment, there will always be pain, disagreement, and strife. That is not how we are to live as Christians. We can never afford to accommodate hatred in our hearts. We are to be loving because that is what helps us forgive. Love corrects but it also gives understanding when people wrong us.

Evening Inspiration
We have heard the phrase, “You are what you eat.” Consider what you consume and put into your body on a regular basis: do you think that you treat your body as a temple of the Holy Ghost? I know that I have been guilty of gluttony and have had issues with alcohol that I am not proud of. This life is a gift and we only have one shot. What a shame it is to waste our time and health on weaknesses of the flesh. Sadly, in these modern times, gluttony is literally a deadly sin.

Morning Prayer
Dear God, I ask that your love will guide me in times where I have been offended. May I never accommodate hatred in my heart, Lord. I pray that in every situation, I will be able to love as you do, so that peace can truly reign and lives can be changed. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Evening Prayer
My body is a temple of the Holy Ghost. Give me this day my daily bread, and the strength and wisdom to accept only my daily amount. Lord, I pray that You help me to approach all things with moderation, but know that I am a sinner. I want what I cannot have, and that which I do have, I want more of. Hold my hand, loving God, and show me the path towards a healthy and loving relationship with You. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
