TODAY’S TOPIC: NO INFANT OF DAYS
SCRIPTURE: “And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive.” (Exodus 1: 22)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
In our Focal Scripture, Pharaoh ordered that newly born male children of the children of Israel be cast into the river. So parents were going to be alive and watch their children being cast into the river. Parents were going to bury their young. In fact, it was worse than even burying one’s child; it was a case of not seeing a corpse to bury; it was a case of one casting their young. It was a case of having an infant of days.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not cast your young. You will not have an infant of days. You will not suffer the misfortune of burying your own children. It will never be said that you were alive to see your young ones die. It will never be said that you watched your children come to life and also watched them in their day of death. It will never be said that you lost any of your children to premature death.
The plan of Pharaoh was not to kill the child of just one parent. He wanted many parents to be in tears all at the same time. He wanted many parents to bury their young at the same time. He wanted mass disaster to capture the lives of many children all at once. Hear me as I hear the Lord: every altar of darkness that wants to swallow the lives of children this year, I decree, let fire answer. Your children will not be meat for the enemy.
Beyond the physical death of those young children, was the matter of destinies that were simply truncated. Destinies that could have attained greatness, were all cut short in their prime. People who could have become warriors and burden bearers for their families died in their prime. I pray for you: no destiny connected to you will be cut short in their prime. You will not lose your potential warriors and burden bearers.
The season of losing your best in their prime, is over. No longer shall you cast your young. No longer shall there be an infant of days around you.
Isaiah 65: 20 says: “There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.”
Declare With Me: I will not lose my young; there will be no infant of days, in Jesus’ name!
