Ragini is fed up of Anurag mistreatment as he tries to force himself on her after being frustrated. She pushes him and says she needed love and not charity, they respect marriage in their culture and not like his western culture where they use a woman as an object. She returns Mangalsutra and washes her Sindhoor with the forehead and says he is free from all bonding now. He should return to London before her father knows about it and punish him.

Ragini finally opens up to her family about her ordeal at Anurag’s house. They support her decision. Shruti still thinks about Vishnu in her daily activities but shekhar is trying to distract her. Anurag is determined to complete his project but he has different issues to face every step of the way.

Shruti by chance has a court cast against vikral. Anurag comes to shekhar office to get his property papers in order, he tells Shruti that Vishnu misses her. Ragini walks in on them and thinks otherwise, she plans to make him leave for London so Shruti can’t have him.

Shruti passes her exam and the whole Singh family is happy for her success except revati. Meanwhile, Ragini threatens the VDO officer to cancel Anurag’s contract. Anurag decides to leave for London now that he has nothing to stay for. Ragini is not happy with herself despite.

Vishnu leaves the house and goes to meet Shruti with gifts for passing her exams. They are taking a walk when goons attack them and start misbehaving with Shruti, he is injured while trying to fight for her dignity.

In a turn of events, Ragini donates blood for Vishnu recovery at the hospital. However, Revati continues to harras Shruti but Vishnu defends her. He is discharged from the hospital but Revati refuses to allow her into the house, Shruti is once again frustrated. Shekhar tries to cheer her up.

Anurag gets a call from London concerning jobs. He prepares to leave soon. He calls Ragini to inform her on his parent’s insistence but she doesn’t seem to care. Meanwhile, Shekhar continues to Sheild Shruti from her in-laws without her knowledge.

Anurag doesn’t go to London again, instead he goes to vikral’s house and tries to winover his wife and take her back home but she’s proving difficult.
