OUTLINE FOR DAILY GUIDE 2 MARCH 2023 DEVOTIONAL: 

From vs.32-34, Christ Jesus predicts for the third time His imminent death and resurrection. Check out two bold attitudes which Jesus exhibited to show that He was willing and determined to obey His Father’s will. See v.32 for the first and find the second. Are you fully determined that by the grace of God, you will follow to the end despite the hardships that you may encounter along the way?

Vs.35-45 are quite amazing. Christ was speaking of His death, yet His disciples were lobbying for positions in His coming kingdom (see 9:33-34)! What do you think was the reason for this diversion? The disciples still imagined that Jesus Christ was to be a political messiah who would sit again on David’s throne and defeat all of Israel’s enemies including the Romans. That could happen after the resurrection, they thought (that is assuming they really understood resurrection)!

How does Christ describe the type of life in the kingdom of God? Read carefully vs.42-45. There is a call for servant leaders in the Church today. Are you ready to be one of such leaders, serving Christ faithfully as well as His church dutifully?

► The Brethren in Akure Region for their love, work, labours, patience and commitment to the work of SU ministry.
► His faithfulness and power as El-shadai God.

PRAY FOR:
► Revelation of God to personal lives, family and Ministry so that they will return to their first love.
► Genuine repentance to retrace their steps in readiness for true Revival and Spiritual Re-awaking.
► Humility of heart and character, grace to be true and faithful in their love, walk with and work for God.
► Brethren who are believing God for jobs, wife, husband, children and comfort for the bereaved.

PRAY AGAINST:
► Living in the flesh, luke-warmness and disobedience to God’s word.
► Weariness, distractions, discouragements and every power contending with the lives of the brethren in their families.
► Accidents, illnesses and all forms of disunity and unfaithfulness in the Region.

Offer a prayer of faith in line with Psalms 16:8
