SOD TODAY’S TOPIC 19TH MARCH 2023: ACCESSING DIMENSIONS OF GLORY
SCRIPTURE: Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. Isaiah 60:1
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: One key to accessing different dimensions of glory is the engagement of the Spirit of God.
It has been confirmed that we are in a season of the manifestation of the Glory of God. God has graciously released His Light and so, His Glory is risen upon us (Isaiah 60:1-3).
Now, one key to accessing different dimensions of glory is the engagement of the Spirit of God.
When you engage the Spirit of God, you experience a shift in levels of glory. Engagement with the Spirit also gives you the capacity to access realms of glory that you never knew existed.
For example, people may only know you to be a rugged evangelist, but all of a sudden, you begin to manifest a pastoral grace.
You might have been known as a conservative pastor, but unexpectedly, a rugged prophetic grace comes upon you. This is what happens when you engage the Spirit of God; the Spirit gives you access to different dimensions of the Glory of God.
There are different dimensions of glory. As we walk with God, graces unfold from dimensions to dimensions.
For example, I didn’t know anything called writing or receiving songs when I started Ministry; it wasn’t part of the scope of my calling as I saw it then; it didn’t cross my mind once at the beginning of the Ministry that I would release a music album. But today, we see the manifestation of diversity of graces for writing, receiving and singing songs, etc., at work.
So, the Spirit of God introduces you to a dimension of glory you may not have had in mind, previously, when you begin to engage Him. That is why people were surprised when they saw Saul prophesying. Saul was known for many things before that time but not as a prophet; when the Spirit of God came upon him, he began to prophesy. (1 Samuel 10:11-12).
Beloved, that hidden potential in you is coming out as you engage the Spirit of God in Jesus Name.
Remember this: One key to accessing different dimensions of glory is the engagement of the Spirit of God.
ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Make up your mind to engage the Spirit of God for the release of God’s Glory in your life.
2. Yield yourself wholly to the Holy Spirit for the release of your potentials.
PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word for me today. I ask for the fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit on my life in order to experience dimensions of Your Glory, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
