SEEDS OF DESTINY DEVOTIONAL FOR TUESDAY 9TH MAY 2023
TODAY’S TOPIC: THE IMPACT OF FOUNDATIONS ON DESTINY

SCRIPTURE: And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people. Isaiah 51:16
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Most times, the challenges we see later in life are products of faulty foundations.
It has been established that foundations play critical roles in life and destiny. Just as a building cannot stand if the foundation is poorly laid or faulty, a life or destiny cannot be fulfilled until the foundation is properly addressed. Your foundation affects your destiny.
Now, I want you to take note of the following points concerning foundation:
i. The foundation of every structure determines the future of the structure.
The foundation of a structure determines the future of the structure.
ii. The solidity of a foundation determines the integrity of the structure.
Architect would always tell us that the solidity of a foundation determines structural integrity and the destiny of the entire construction.
iii. Fault in the foundation equals failure or disaster in the construction.
You see, a whole structure can collapse because of a fault in the foundation. A fault in the foundation equals failure or disaster in the construction, either immediately or eventually.
Many years ago, I read about a fault in the foundation of a building that occasioned a crack on the twelfth floor of the building many years later.
You see, the challenge was in the foundation but the crack was on the twelfth floor.
There are many people that suddenly began to experience certain challenges in their lives. Those challenges were not there before and you begin to wonder where they came from. Most times, they are traceable to such people’s foundations.
Most times, the challenges we see later in life are products of faulty foundations.
My counsel is, make up your mind to address your foundation at the place of prayer.
Remember this: Most times, the challenges we see later in life are products of faulty foundations.
ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Go through today’s message once again to understand the impact of foundation on life and destiny.
2. Make up your mind to address your destiny foundation in order to have a colourful destiny.
PRAYER: Thank You Lord for showing me the place of foundation in destiny. I ask that You shake my foundation and reposition my life and destiny for greater exploits, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
