DAILY WALK WITH CHRIST 2ND MARCH 2023
TODAY’S TOPIC: FEAR
SCRIPTURE: 1 JOHN 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked.
TODAY’S WORD: DAILY WALK WITH CHRIST
Fear is a feeling that something evil or dreadful will befall you. Fear is a sign that love has not been perfected. It torments a person, fills him with anguish, makes him restless and keeps him in bondage of the devil, death and judgment. It is sin that erects a gulf between God and man. So, the sinful man dreads God. Truly, a man who is in discord with God cannot face a righteous God who disapproves sin.
In this condition, he cannot be at peace even with himself. But the love of God our Creator discards the fear of evil, death and judgment. To benefit his love and peace, you must keep a close and steadfast walk with Jesus who takes away all fears. Therefore, take your fear to Jesus, for he alone can say with certainty, “Fear not!”
REFLECTION
When love comes into your heart, fear goes out.
PRAYER
Lord, deliver me from the bondage of fear. Amen.
