Zee News: According to ZeeTV, it is good news for Jamai Raja fans! The Zee TV show’s web reboot shall star the original star cast Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma in the lead roles.
Celebrate, Jamai Raja fans! Last month, we were the first to tell you that the daily soap will soon get a spin-off series. Now our sources have exclusively confirmed to us that both Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma, who starred in the original, have been locked in for the web reboot. However, the spin-off of the Zee TV show shall be streamed on the OTT platform ZEE5.
Ravi and Nia’s chemistry as Siddharth Khurrana and Roshni Patel was immensely appreciated and loved by small screen viewers. In fact, die-hard followers of the fan have been demanding on social media that Jamai Raja’s spin-off should only star their favourite NiVi (Nia and Ravi) as SidNi (Siddharth and Roshni). Looks like their wishes have been granted for both Ravi and Nia are set to return to the Jamai Raja universe!
Besides, our well-placed sources have also informed us that Achint Kaur, who played the role of Nia’s mother D.D. Patel, could likely return to the show too. Jamai Raja was produced under Ashvini Yardi and Akshay Kumar’s banner Grazing Goat and co-produced by Meenakshi Sagar.

Jamai Raja had enjoyed a three-year successful run with several leaps and plot twists and had three seasons. It was even developed into regional languages.
Not just Jamai Raja, but spin-off series for other Zee TV shows like Guddan Tumse Na Ha Payega and Ishq Subhan Allah are in the making too. Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega’s spin-off will be titled Bittan: Tumhara Time Aayega. Ishq Aaj Kal will be the name of Ishq Subhan Allah’s web reboot, which will star Angad Hasija in the lead.
As for Ravi, the actor hosted the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Chamos 2019 while Nia recently starred in a sensuous music video Hor Pila.
